Noor Kamal is a Master of Landscape Architecture student at the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign and Research Assistant for Depave Chicago since January 2025. Noor is coordinating Depave Chicago’s public engagement, social media, and communications, and she is key contributor to our 2026 Depave Summit planning activities. In that work, Noor is keeping the vibe high for everyone! With a Bachelor of Studio Arts from Kenyon College, she also serves as a Teaching Artist through the Chicago Park District working with kids through music, art, and storytelling. Noor was recently named a Charles Fountain Scholar Finalist by the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture in recognition of her years of social and community engagement and promising impact for the field of landscape architecture.
